The sauna is heated by a HUUM Steel electric sauna heater or equivalent, delivering high-temperature heat through a traditional electric heater and sauna-stone system. Final heater sizing and specifications are determined according to the selected configuration.

The floor system begins with pressure-treated solid-wood joists set 24 inches on center. A 3/4-inch tongue-and-groove OSB underlayment is glued and nailed into place, followed by a waterproof sealed floor and integrated drain.

Walls are framed with 2 × 4 lumber and include full sheathing, exterior 7/16-inch OSB, double top plates, and reinforcement blocking where required.

Solid-wood rafters support an OSB roof deck designed to a 30 lb. per square foot live-load standard, with an available upgrade for properties requiring greater snow-load capacity.

The Sauna Max combines substantial insulation with a weather-resistant exterior envelope designed for outdoor placement.

Standard construction includes:

• R-13 fiberglass batt insulation in the walls

• R-30 insulation in the ceiling

• 30# roofing felt
