Rather than placing a cold plunge tub by itself outdoors, the Plunge Max creates an entire room around the experience. Its 136 sq. ft. interior provides enough space for up to two full-size plunge tubs, depending on the final configuration.

That opens up possibilities a conventional standalone plunge cannot offer: more room around the tubs, protected space for transitioning in and out of the water, an optional indoor shower, and a dedicated environment designed specifically around cold-water use.

Designed Around Cold-Water Use

The interior can incorporate black rolled rubber flooring for added grip and comfort underfoot in the plunge area.

A waterproof sealed floor with integrated drainage helps prepare the room for regular water use, while available plumbing configurations can support the selected plunge setup.

Engineered as an Outdoor Wellness Room

The Plunge Max is constructed as a substantial outdoor structure rather than simply an enclosure around a cold tub.

The floor system begins with pressure-treated solid-wood joists set 24 inches on center. A 3/4-inch tongue-and-groove OSB underlayment is glued and nailed into place, followed by a waterproof sealed floor and integrated drain.

Walls are framed with 2 × 4 lumber and include full sheathing, exterior 7/16-inch OSB, double top plates, and reinforcement blocking where required.

Solid-wood rafters support an OSB roof deck designed to a 30 lb. per square foot live-load standard, with an available upgrade for properties requiring greater snow-load capacity.

The insulated shell includes:

• R-13 fiberglass batt insulation in the walls

• R-30 insulation in the ceiling

• R-30 insulation in the floor

• Tyvek house wrap or equivalent weather barrier
