Traditional Sauna Heat

Inside the sauna room, tongue-and-groove cedar surrounds the walls and ceiling, creating the warm, natural atmosphere expected from a premium traditional sauna.

The space is heated by a HUUM Steel electric sauna heater or equivalent, delivering the high-temperature, stone-based heat associated with traditional sauna bathing.

Final heater specifications are confirmed according to the selected Sweaty Yeti configuration and floor plan.

Dedicated Cold Plunge Space

The integrated plunge room gives you a separate recovery area designed around cold exposure and post-sauna transition.

Black rolled rubber flooring provides added grip and comfort in the plunge area, while the waterproof floor system and built-in drainage support a space designed for regular use around water.

Depending on the selected configuration, plumbing and tub connections can be incorporated into the final build.

Engineered From the Ground Up

The Sauna Plunge is constructed as a substantial outdoor wellness structure rather than a lightweight prefab cabin.

The floor system begins with pressure-treated solid-wood joists set 24 inches on center. A 3/4-inch tongue-and-groove OSB underlayment is glued and nailed into place, followed by a waterproof sealed floor and integrated drain.

Walls are framed with 2 × 4 lumber and include full sheathing, exterior 7/16-inch OSB, double top plates, and reinforcement blocking where required.

Solid-wood rafters support an OSB roof deck designed to a 30 lb. per square foot live-load standard, with an available upgrade for locations requiring greater snow-load capability.

Built for Outdoor Use

Standard construction includes:

• R-13 fiberglass batt insulation in the walls

• R-30 insulation in the ceiling

• R-30 insulation in the floor

• Tyvek house wrap or equivalent weather barrier

• 30# roofing felt

• Ice-and-water shield

• Lifetime architectural asphalt composite shingles

• Clear-sealed cedar decking over an open-frame deck

• Board-and-batten fiber cement siding
